Why Friday is important to you?

It is always a pleasure to pen down on something which could give you peace, relaxation, enthusiasm just even by it's name. Yes, I am referring about Friday. This day could have different aspects in different lives. For someone it could be just one more day to the week but for us luckily since college times this has been most favorite day and it is definitely safe to assume the same thought about each professional college student. The case is similar for the IT professionals too (except those who have the project deadlines on Friday which have the hidden meaning of before Monday).

Enough about everyone's charm about ‘The Friday’, but what is so cool about it? In my personal opinion, the feeling alone about ‘this being the last day of the week and two complete days I have for myself’ gives a so feel good factor which Saturday and Sunday would never provide. This is like feeling that you are going to meet your best friend but once you meet, the countdown of two days meeting begins and slowly it lets you feel that the meeting is about to be over soon.

If you consider this day with respect to "working day", this could be most effective/efficient day with full of energy and motivation. This seems like mom granting you to just play and play after completing this much work. I would put all the energy to complete it as soon as possible in most effective manner.

When I think how the word 'Friday' would have come into existence, This must be modified form of 'Fryday' or 'Fried-day' because when person comes to work on Monday and keep on putting his/her head in the same pan daily, it must be Fried by the end of week. So what if this is true, everyone likes Fried dishes and so we should appreciate the work which could Fry you over the week and serve you the dish on ‘Fried-day’ in terms of two full days to do ‘anything’ or ‘nothing’.

If someone remembers the proverb 'Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukra hai' and also the Hindi word for Friday 'Shukrawar', Shukra itself has been used for thanking God. Just Imagine if this comes true in literal sense and God provide us lakhs and lakhs of Friday .......... wow what an imagination!!! Very first word I would use to thank Him would again be 'Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukra hai'. :-)
